Nuclear bomb

Anyone else obsessed with their beauty to both destroy but also their structure once went off and made contact with land? 😍😍 so beautiful! (But deadly)!
GlitterEater · 36-40, F
Sorry. Not beautiful.
DarlingLinds · 41-45, F
@GlitterEater yes! Mushroom cloud I love it!
GlitterEater · 36-40, F
@DarlingLinds Absolute horror being exploded over a city full of people.
DarlingLinds · 41-45, F
@GlitterEater not always
WillaKissing · 56-60
No not me at all. I have been to war and seen death and destruction on all kinds of levels in my 27-year career. There is Nothing and I mean nothing beautiful about a bomb going off and eliminating life/life forms. and the Residual radiation destruction for years to follow is horrific.
We'd be better off without them. They serve no useful purpose, although it has been argued that their mere existence preserved the peace in Europe for over 40 years, but even that perceived benefit has recently been discredited, because of the war in Yugoslavia during the 1990's and the current war in the Ukraine.
Elessar · 26-30, M
@Bellatrix2083 I fear that there'd have been far more conflicts than those two without them. No way that the cold war would've stayed cold, for instance.

Neither Yugoslavia not Ukraine did/do have nukes. Thus far, there hasn't been any war between two or more countries with a nuclear arsenal
Barefooter25 · 46-50, M
Like the subterranean mutant observers from Beneath the Planet of The Apes? "Hail Mighty Bomb!!!" "Hail Mighty Bomb"!!! 🚀
PatKirby · M
@Barefooter25

All hail the blast from the mighty bomb and the holy fallout that proceedeth forth! Then let no man monkey around with this technology from the beast!
Fishy · F
It's more eerie than pretty tbh 😖

I know there are natural things that can be destructive too, but they aren't that destructive.

Nukes don't only destroy what's already there, they also destroy the ability for the land to repair itself to livable for a very long time

Saved a million U.S. lives from the
Invasion of Japan in WW2.
FreestyleArt · 31-35, M
In my storyline. The Monkey's Universe are obsessed with those. They have over a million different kinds of Nukes. It's part of their Tradition to celebrate the Victory over the Red Dragons and Celebrate Independence of the Monkey's Universe over a Thousand years. Ever since...

Nanoose · 61-69, M
@fakable Oh yeah sometimes when I fart I let out 3 quick toots and it sounds a lot like that song 3 Blind Mice. Cheers and happy weekend!
