I'm attending the birthday meal from hell this coming Saturday. I've just been sent the menu, & duck macaroni is an option for a side.

@cherokeepatti Would be totally acceptable as a butter and herb dish with duck meat, but cheese and duck does not sound good.

@nonsensiclesnail I had roast duck exactly one time and it’s really greasy, wasn’t impressed by the flavor either. 🤢

@cherokeepatti I e tried duck two or three times now. The first was disgusting! The other two were ok. My son in law makes roast duck every thanksgiving. It’s his own tradition he had with his grandfather so I’ve been polite and tried it. Wasn’t bad! But nothing I would seek out.

@nonsensiclesnail I heard it’s how they are prepared. I guess I would eat it if that’s all there was to survive on. But seriously people need to learn how to cook game meats if they want to do that.
