Israel has ticked him off by having an agenda abhorrent to the rest of the world. - so they're not playing ball.
Palestine (along with a sizable slice of The Middle East) doesn't like him either.
Partly down to the Israel/Gaza thing, but also down to the OPEC oil pricing which is costing U.S. consumers more.
The whole border travel nonsense toward Canada and Mexico.
To say nothing of the whole ICE business at airports and ports in the U.S....kinda hard to endear yourself to people when you're detaining and deporting their citizens to third party hell holes around the world.

I can only hope that Trump is able to overcome the Neocons in Washington and get American relations with Russia back on track. There truly is no need for the animosity that the Neocons show for Russia.

@ChipmunkErnie Imagine if immediately following 9/11 the EU commission invited Bin Laden in Bruxelles, laid a red carpet for him, had the president of the commission welcome him clapping, and then tried to negotiate a "peace" without involving or asking the USA? Pretty much the same energy here.

@JSul3 USA has been expanding NATO to encircle Russia and that's not good for anyone but weapons sales people.
Certainly the wish to destroy is bigger than the responsibility to make peace, throughout the West. Nobody in the West would want peace with Russia. They're only taking a break on the way to destroying Russia and China. . It's why I pray for Russia to end this mightily.

@fun4us2b There was agreement between Trump and Putin. Now comes the hard part of convincing everyone else their agreement is a good idea. Low on details but high on aspirations I tend to favour the agreement over the war. Too many people (mainly Ukrainians) are dying needlessly.

@dubum Obama was president when the USA shot people on both sides to start the civil war in Ukraine.
