What are your thoughts on the meeting between Trump and Putin?

@fun4us2b no, Europe is not involved in the US provocation of Russia using Ukraine. Everyone admits that this is a proxy war between the US, aggressor, and Russia, the responder. Ukraine has no legitimate president. Zelensky is not involved.

@Roundandroundwego Depends how you look at the world. If you wear blinders, you forget history. Just google "map of Europe" and let me know if Ukraine - or even Algeria and Morocco show up....

@fun4us2b Ukraine means the fringe. Fringe or edge, of what? Russia. Get nato out of Russia and away from the edge. Stop trying to get Washington nuked.
Russia is in Europe.

@JSul3 USA has been expanding NATO to encircle Russia and that's not good for anyone but weapons sales people.
Certainly the wish to destroy is bigger than the responsibility to make peace, throughout the West. Nobody in the West would want peace with Russia. They're only taking a break on the way to destroying Russia and China. . It's why I pray for Russia to end this mightily.

@fun4us2b There was agreement between Trump and Putin. Now comes the hard part of convincing everyone else their agreement is a good idea. Low on details but high on aspirations I tend to favour the agreement over the war. Too many people (mainly Ukrainians) are dying needlessly.
