@ChipmunkErnie Imagine if immediately following 9/11 the EU commission invited Bin Laden in Bruxelles, laid a red carpet for him, had the president of the commission welcome him clapping, and then tried to negotiate a "peace" without involving or asking the USA? Pretty much the same energy here.

Hard to go lower, but yeah not impossible.
