Anyone who disagrees with this thinks the Buffalo shooting was a great moment for the protection of the white race. Full stop. How the fuck do you see that and not realize this is a problem.
CountScrofula · 41-45, M
@Budwick lmao yeah and whatever media you learned that shit from is so reliable.

He was one of yours. Just like Antoine Bisonnette, Dylan Roof, Brandon Tarrant, Robert Bowers, I can go on.

All of them were watching the same media you do, sharing the same memes, and talking about how white pepople are under attack by minorities.
JohnnySpot · 56-60, M
The Buffalo shooting was some crazy kid not the government.
Anon066 · 31-35, M
@Burnley123 did you not read the manifesto?
wildbill83 · 36-40, M
you forgot a few important details...

white supremacy isn't far right, it's far left

Plantation/Slave owners = democrats
KKK = democrats
BLM = responsible for billions in damages, hundreds of injuries, and a few dozen deaths due to rioting; democrats
Antifa = pro communist democrats

Many democrats are pro-socialist, anti capitalist

something they share with the USSR (Union of Soviet Socialist Republics), the Nazi party (National Socialist German Workers' Party), and China

Mass shooters? most are registered democrats
SumKindaMunster · 51-55, M
Since most right wing people are Republicans, this is merely a smear job by the Democrats to shame the Republican base and draw attention away from:

The highest inflation rate in a generation, higher gas prices, higher costs all around.
Promoting the proxy war in Ukraine which sends money and resources to them instead of focusing on Americans.
The failure of the Covid 19 vaccines in preventing the spread of Covid.
The embarrassing and alarming behavior of our President, Joe Biden who is clearly in the throws of at least moderate dementia and causing everyone concern with his strange behavior and bizarre statements.
SumKindaMunster · 51-55, M
@DailyFlash Who decides that a crime should be deemed "politically extreme motivated violence"? You? The ADL?

If so, why should I listen?
DailyFlash · 56-60, M
@SumKindaMunster you can pretend all you want I guess.
SumKindaMunster · 51-55, M
@DailyFlash As can you. 🤷‍♂️

It seems strange to denote "anti-government" extremism as a type of right wing extremism, even though it's valid in some cases (e.g. Cliven Bundy). I mean, Antifa tends to be anarchists, are we to view them as right wingers? It's also a little strange to characterize Islamic extremism as not right wing, considering that they literally want to uphold traditional values.

Regardless though, it's obvious that the political right is overwhelmingly more violent than the left.
SW-User
@BlueVeins I think it's taking "white supremacy" and "other right wing" together and saying more than half are right-wing. Anti-government is at the top because it's the #2 but it's not a type of right-wing. At least that's how I read it. The picture isn't entirely clear.

I think they mean 'libertarian'. So I think its OK tbh.
You used the Anti-Defamation League as a source. 🤣 There's no question the biggest threat to America comes from radical leftists, like the black supremacist who mowed down white children with a car in Waukesha, the Antifa extremists who attacked a federal courthouse for 50 straight nights in 2020, and the BLM looters and rioters, just to mention a few.
@DailyFlash You presented "stats" from two outlets which have a longtime historic left-wing bias. You're going to have to do better than that.
DailyFlash · 56-60, M
@CactusJackManson is the Washington Post ok? https://www.washingtonpost.com/investigations/interactive/2021/domestic-terrorism-data/
@DailyFlash The Bezos post is not acceptable.
Ryannnnnn · 31-35, M
It's strange how people's response to extremism being a problem is to start blaming it on the left and spouting what about isms. If you identify with the right then surely we can all agree extremism is bad and a problem regardless.

I knew US politics was divisive but bloody hell guys. Extremism is a problem all the time. A politician got shot in the head and stabbed 15 times in public in my country because of right wing extremists just a few years ago.
Ryannnnnn · 31-35, M
@SumKindaMunster That's your opinion, not here to debate that. Regardless of source it is a problem for everyone. I'd just agree it's an issue and not really care because the truth stands. So what if it's a lower percentage in reality? Only takes 1 person to kill many.
SumKindaMunster · 51-55, M
@Ryannnnnn Ok, that's cool. I happen to feel differently. I just think you needed to hear that this is not a sincere post however, your question was sincere so I thought you deserved a more informed answer.
Ryannnnnn · 31-35, M
@SumKindaMunster I can respect that
Baremine · 70-79, C
Anti government is not right wing. That is totally left wing. Right wing are peacefully unlike the democrat backed crap we are putting up with every summer. Democrats thrive on violence and chaos.
Of course they are a threat, as right wing extremists attempting to overthrow the government on1/6/21 proves.
Baremine · 70-79, C
@independentone 1/6 was orchestrated by the Democratic party with most of the people impersonating Trump supporters. That is fact.
@Baremine Bull Shit
Carissimi · 70-79, F
That’s a load of codswallop! Leftist propaganda. How many white supremacists are there? About 6 at the last count. ANTIFA, and BLM have caused more damage, riots, and harm than all 6 of any WS have in the past 30-years.
DailyFlash · 56-60, M
@SumKindaMunster they put together this graph from crime stats.
Carissimi · 70-79, F
Saying 6 is me being sarcastic because the numbers of REAL white supremacists is very low ... unless, of course, you count all conservatives and Republicans, then you’ll get a far higher (false) number, and that’s exactly what the lying Left does. Creates a race issue where none exists, and inflates the number of white supremacists by including ordinary citizens who happen to be white and conservative. Then they call conservative black people a WS too, further inflating numbers. @DailyFlash
SumKindaMunster · 51-55, M
@DailyFlash You familiar with the ADL? You know they are a private organization that doesn't collect crime stats?

Likely they determined these figures on their own through their own process and criteria. You'll never know what that criteria is...so you can't stake these stats as accurate or supported. You got any stats from the FBI? Or other Justice department that actually collects these things?
ServantOfTheGoddess · 61-69, M
Yes, and it is important to draw attention to this so as not to distort reality.

Not the same issue, but related to perceptions of where danger lies: Growing up in the 1960s and 70s in Canada I had a vague impression that there was a lot of violence being carried out by Black people in the USA, because of media images of ghetto riots. But the fact was and is that there has been a consistent history of much more violence carried out by White people against Black people. This horrible shooting in Buffalo is just the latest example.

Before you can work out how to make things better, there has to be some understanding of the facts.
JohnnySpot · 56-60, M
@ServantOfTheGoddess the shooting in Buffalo was some crazy kid not government
ServantOfTheGoddess · 61-69, M
@JohnnySpot Never said it was the government.
Anon066 · 31-35, M
@ServantOfTheGoddess you're very right that many people form opinions on what the media shows them regardless of what the actual statistics show, but it's going the opposite way now, mostly via police shootings.

Black on white violent crime is drastically more prevalent than white on black today too.
Ceinwyn · 26-30, F
I think Americans are generally extreme people. That’s not a criticism although it is a reason why the last few years have gone the way they have. Regardless of who they vote for.
JohnnySpot · 56-60, M
The way this statistic is written tries to trick you.
DailyFlash · 56-60, M
@JohnnySpot how dare they trick you with facts!
JohnnySpot · 56-60, M
@DailyFlash a small fraction of the murder and violent crime rate.
JohnnySpot · 56-60, M
I was only noticing the vague wording of the study.
therighttothink50 · 56-60, M

Yeah, keep existing in Your leftist fantasy world. It requires you to suspend critical thinking, logic, facts and evidence.

Keep going to snopes to affirm your lies. People are fed up with you Obama race-baiters, you've worn out your hate and leftist propaganda.

You've become nothing but a bunch of fringe psychotic radicals, who rely on the most ignorant people to buy into your pure BS.

You're so low IQ, it is quite pathetic. People like you are left to exist in a world of wishful thinking and confirmation bias, so you can advance your constant lies and hate.

Seek help for the severe mental disorder you have....Along with your fellow leftist bots who love to create the illusion of the preposterous. You are preaching to a choir of insane drones.....

Does it make you feel good to constantly divide a country based on race?
DeluxedEdition · 26-30, F
That is the least of americas problems lol
I'm just sitting here looking at these stats and gloating because it's like I've had the misfortune of pointing out how absurd Fox news was for keeping the spectre of Bill Ayers and the Weather underground alive as if the left was on the verge of some sort of massive terror attack.

and meanwhile the right is killing people all over the place. They even went so far because I told them I wouldn't be all that sad if they were the ones that these armed gun nuts were killing.

I've been dubbed the "Next elliot rodgers" by the Propertarian wing of YouTube so obsessed with MUHHHH PROPERTY

and yet Funny how It's White nationalist kids killing people while I just sit there and snagged a tech apprenticeship

pft. The left commits a measely 4% of this shit and Fox news acts like it's a threat to the nation.

Not even a 4th as much of a threat as the Right you fucking clowns.
DearAmbellina2113 · 41-45, F
Yes, but don't be fooled. We've got Fascism coming in from the right, and Socialism from the left. The fact that homophobia, racism, and hate groups in general support the GOP is an unfortunate side effect of their belief system.
Ynotisay · M
@DailyFlash Yep. And always listed as the "happiest" countries in the world too. But who wants that?
@Ynotisay while I do think social reforms are a good idea (social security, medicare, the ACA), there are some things I'm concerned about. People have agendas, and agendas change. Bernie Sanders wants free school, but who decides what that will look like? That's what I wanna know...
Ynotisay · M
@GohantheThird It's a valid concern. But Bernie Sanders wants a lot of things. And he sells the idea of magic wands to the impressionable. There's a process to legislation that is rarely acknowledged. That's why he's such a poor-performing Senator. He doesn't write legislation that gets passed. I'm not sure that's his goal.

At face level, and based on data, 'free' secondary education, which would included education for trades, would result in a better educated society and that bares fruit. It's already in place in a bunch of states and is popular around the world. But the issue with things like this is federal vs. state. We could absolutely pay for it on a federal level. But education has been demonized by the right as a "liberal / elitist" thing. That's how you keep people down. Just like the fact that the U.S. is the only industrialized nation on earth that doesn't have "socialized" health care.

Could we do it? Of course. Would it require the very richest to pay more tax to be more in line with 'regular' people? It would. Post WW2 the richest were paying at around a 90% personal tax rate and the middle class exploded because of it. But will taxes on the wealthiest by significantly raised to pay for things that better serve citizens? Not as long as you have some fighting for the richest and using the poorest as their tools. We live in a pretty dumb country. All it takes is a word that ends in "ism," like Socialism, to make people fight against it. There's not one Socialist in Congress. There are now Democratic Socialists but the nuance gets lost on those who've been fed fear-driven nonsense. It's a little nonsensical to me that so many purposefully fight against what's in their own best interest. I think it speaks to a level of manipulation that's pretty strategic and powerful.
Sidewinder · 36-40, M
It would more than likely would have been in an alternate timeline where in which the Axis powers of Germany, Italy and Japan won the Second World War instead of the Allied nations. I shudder to imagine the kind of world we'd be living in if such an outcome ever came to pass.

More so than foreign terrorism
SW-User
@CactusJackManson The same riot where right wing extremists wanted to change the vote with the plan of holding everyone in the Senate hostage so Trump could remain president. The same riot where these right wing extremists chanted "hang Mike Pence" because they saw him as a traitor for not giving Trump a second chance. The same riot where Capitol police were beaten for fighting back instead of supporting what the right wing extremists wanted. That riot. As much as you want to sugar coat it because you support what happened.
police murdering the unarmed Ashli Babbitt? That "riot?" 🤣
Oh, If only Ashli Babbitt had listened to police and not attempt to climb through that broken window to get to the Senators, she would've been alive.
DailyFlash · 56-60, M
@CactusJackManson misogynist. What’s with the buttercup?
Diotrephes · 70-79, M
@SW-User Ashli was one crazy _________. Good riddance.
I agree that its a threat but also wanted to point out 4 of those 6 poll options are all right wing anyway.
DailyFlash · 56-60, M
@canusernamebemyusername they're not poll options, they are from crime stats.
Northwest · M
As long as it's not some foreigner, or God forbid non-Christian, we're good with it.

And this is why the Justice Department is impotent -- fear.
