Sunbathing by the beach.

For me, getting on the water just before the pink line forms on the eastern horizon, and, if the winds are calm, sitting on the mirror and watching the sun rise. Then go fishing. At night, with a distant thunderstorm booming and putting on a light show, the fireflies put on their own show, and it's spectacular. The music is provided by the Bullfrogs, Katydids, and every other nighttime creature out there. It is breathtaking!

getting on a whale watching boat and heading 25 mile off shore. amazing what's so close to swimmers as you head out. rays, dolphins, schools of blue fish, great whites, tiger sharks and the whales are the best. it's like they know you're watching and want to put on a show for you

Fishing, off a dock, in a fishing kayak, in a boat. Camping, cooking out, having a beer, watching the grandkids swim. All with family and friends.

Going to the lake cottage, fishing early in the morning and late in the evening, swimming and other activities in the heat of the day.

For me it's hiking, preferably whilst wearing nothing but my backpack and my sandals.

Picnics in beautiful places

Lounging in my boat in a secluded cove with no humans around, picking out shapes in the trees.. a little nap, a swim, a hike.

Depends on where each person who answers this question lives, I'd wager. For example: Around here the beach is the way to go because of hot summers lol.
