@AbbeyRhode they stay around here in central Oklahoma year round. I see them picking around on the yard and flower beds morning and evening.
AbbeyRhode · F
@cherokeepatti I think ours stay, too, but they are quiet in the winter.

@CrazyMusicLover Blackbirds are already on, here. Idk I'd at night because I'm sleeping with windows closed, but by the time I wake up (7am) there's already the concert
CrazyMusicLover · 31-35
@Elessar True, I heard them a week ago in the middle of the night too. But it was much warmer, around 8°C. Now nights are around -1°C.

Nature seems to be a bit messed up at the moment. I can see a few buds on trees already.
cherokeepatti · 61-69, F

There is a 0lant in my garden. Actually two plants. One is Lungwort. Pretty pink blossoms. It lasts a long time. Then another called Naked Ladies. It has white blossoms. It is next. It is written thst, in autumn, it reblooms 6 weeks before the first snow. Yes, it is accurate too. Then vome the typical spring flowers like daffodils, hyacinths, tulips, crocuses. Then robins! Then my pussywillow tree. It is a dwarf bush.
@PoetryNEmotion Cripe. Plant.
SunshineGirl · 36-40, F
Tadpoles emerging from frogspawn; snowdrops and daffodils on the roadside; lambs in the fields.
That damned high pitched buzzing noise.

You know exactly what I am talking about...

Flies, saw some around the cat food that didn’t get finished that I fed the feral cats. Next thing is honeybees flying around on flowering weeds like dandelions.

When the air is cool, but the sun warms you up. You start to see more sun than clouds. Little flowers poke their heads out (they know the sun's power level).
