I can tell time by the sun a few different ways. One way is holding your hand sideways level horizon then keep adding fingers till you reach the sun. That will tell you how much daylight you have left
Look at shadows and their placement tells what hour it is
Where the sun is sitting in sky
At night, look at the moon, where is at in the sky
Speaking of the moon. The shape of moon will tell what week of the month it is. If you know that. Then aline with with the north star and figure out what day it is.
What about cloudy days listen to the frogs, bugs and other animals. Watch and study them. Become one with nature
Can I start a fire? I can a fire with nothing in pockets and searching for what I need.
I took survivalist wildness training in my late teens though my early 20s for like 6 years. I still practice the skills today and teach them to my grandkids. Never know when they might need them skills.
starting a fire is easy, especially if you have a fire starter. Time is a little harder but can be done close enough to be within an hour of being correct..
@Matt85 getting lost , traffic and crime. I seriously get overwhelmed and in culture shock in big cities. It also creeps me out someone can always see or hear you in citys
@WowwGirl Understood. The country is gonna be calmer, they would bomb the cities first. Most would fight their cause in the city. But on the other hand being on a farm, you might be like a sitting duck, easy to ambush. We'll probably need to move from one building to another.
