@caPnAhab and @WanderingThrough The reason Creed gets a lot of hate is because one might argue that they are the 2000's version of some early 80's group called "Air Supply".
Just whiney, sappy love music.

I wonder though why there are often more than one band that has a certain sound. Like whoever writes the music for creed and pearl jam, couldn't they just assign those songs to one band or the other?

Again, I’m sorry you don’t like it, I’m sorry you don’t see the humour, but that is really a “you” problem. I’m sure there are things you find funny that I don’t. The good thing about bands that are complete crap is - they are fun to hate on. 😄 To joke about.

You know when you are driving, got the radio or steam on, and a really crap band comes on.
Of course you reach down to change the station and think, "Oh Gyod, they suck!"

Do you suppose when bands like Nickelback reach down to change the station when one of their own songs comes on they might say, "Oh Gyod, we suck!"

I told him that Smash Mouth was worse than Nickelback and he said the lead singer of Nickelback woke up in a cold sweat just knowing that there was a band worse than them. Hard to explain, you would have had to have been there. That dude had me rolling though
