what is your opinion on bruce springsteen

i like some of his songs, but him i find a bit annoying, i saw him a few times in interviews and live on stage, also i heard he opposes Trump, and i'm a fan of Trump, so yeah.

1. Make villains out of a religious or ethnic group.
2. Make the people terrified of immigrants.
3. Accuse his opponents of using the same tactics he uses.
4. Keep the lie big, keep it simple, and keep repeating it.

His music is good. His stuff from the 70's is fantastic.

He's another "Limousine Liberal". Hasn't been part of the working class since the 70's, but still pretends he is one of them.

He's a liberal elite, he's lived in a bubble of privilege since the early 80's.

Yeah, he's not insane, so I can see why he wont appeal to you. You might need to go examine the songs of his you like, b/c you're probably misinterpreting them ... e.g. Born in the USA isnt a patriotic anthem

I like many of his songs. (mostly from the 70's and 80's)

Born To Run, Badlands, The River, Hungry Heart, Dancing in the Dark, Born in the U.S.A., My Hometown, Glory Days and Brilliant Disguise are among my favorite songs.

Regardless of his politics I'm not much of a fan. I like a few of his songs but I really am not into his music.

I like Springsteen’s music, and I especially like that he opposes Trump, since Trump is a racist and a misogynist. I have no use for Trump or his supporters, evil people who basically tried to overthrow our government.

Like him. Read his autobiography, "Born to Run". Written some great lyrics, some great songs. Like a lot of his live videos, particularly when Clarence Clemons blows!

Not ever so struck on him though I like [i]Born To Run[/i], which is about the only work of his I would recognise.

As for whatever American political party he, as an American, supports, I have no view as that is his business.

@ArishMell I actually think he is a great poet. Some of his lyrics are memorable, even without the accompaniment of loud music!

@ArishMell I still love seeing the late great Clarence Clemons on sax when Bruce's E-Street Band plays live in videos.

Reading Bruce Springsteens's auto- biography he spoke of the very early days of the group and said how virtually every cent they earned went towards paying Clarence's maintenance costs for the children he had sired! They needed him in the group despite the drain on finances.

Used to like him decades back. A lot of musicians have beliefs I don't agree with. Same with several real-life friends. But we remain friends in real-life. For musicians I like... I enjoy their work as artists and leave the politics aside.
