Eww, neither
Willow0628 · F
@Mudkip is it free, and can you use it without having to see the videos. I just want to listen to music
Mudkip · 31-35, M
@Willow0628 I believe yt music has like 30 second ads. But I mostly use yt premium for music since it has no ads and basically the biggest library of any platform
ArtieKat · M
@Mudkip, @Willow0628, if you upload your own music on YT Music there's no ads.

Apple Music - never looked for anything I couldn’t find and download. I guess they’re all about the same price - $10.

I also have YouTube music cause it comes with YouTube premium, so if you watch a lot of YouTube, you get then both for $20.

I use Amazon Music. I use Prime and have a number of Echo devices. I wanted access to a larger music library and hear music in Ultra HD and Dolby Atmos, plus I stream by connecting my phone to my car's media system. It works out great for me and I am satisfied.

"Better" in what way? Tone quality (which will depend further on what equipment you use, of course)? Range and choice? Value for money?

Do those two companies pay the proper royalties at all? Or just rip off the musicians and studios?

Do they encourage new composers and performers? Do they employ any orchestras or other ensembles? Do they relay live concerts? Do they tell you anything about the music or its creators?

I would be surprised if they do any of those!

I do not use either Apple or Amazon for anything though, not only listening to music, which I obtain via the radio; and even though using only a modest transistor set probably hear it at better fidelity than a streaming service and telephone or PC loudspeaker can offer.

I use Youtube music because it's seamless with youtube and eliminates ads...plus I think has a far greater number of small unknowns and better suggestion algorithm...
ArtieKat · M
I don't use either. I download all my music from Spotify desktop (free) or Youtube - and then upload to my YouTube Music account (free for up to 100,000 tracks). I'm currently at around 10,500.
HowtoDestroyAngels · 46-50, M
I actually use YouTube Music unlimited. It's cheap and way better than both of the others.
Mudkip · 31-35, M
@HowtoDestroyAngels same, and there's way more selection over Spotify and all other platforms
reubles · 41-45, M
YouTube premium comes with YouTube music, so I use that. I've tried Amazon music, the sound is marginally better, but I prefer the YouTube music experience overall

MrsRachelEvans · 31-35, F
I like my music on discs! I hate paying to stream.
I haven't noticed any difference in quality between the two.
Ducky · 31-35, F
