Trump said he was ‘surprised’ that Jerome Powell had been nominated to be chair of the Federal Reserve. AND THEN CLAIMED BIDEN APPOINTED HIM. For those who don't know he was a Trump appointee.

"I was surprised he was appointed. I was surprised, frankly, that Biden put him in and extended him".

All true Americans and even MAGAts should be concerned that the President of the US is seriously dysfunctional,

The markets tanked this morning, when Trump's plan to fire him for cause (something about spending money to renovate the Fed's decaying facilities).

So, Trump denied the leaked plan exists and said he has no plans to fire him, so the markets regained what they lost.

Total confidence in Trump's economy. 🤣

@Midlifemale Donald Trump nominated Powell in 2017, to replace outgoing chair Janet Yellen.

Powell is indeed a Trump nominee. That's a fact. It's not just what Democrats say .

And Trump did recently complain, erroneously, about Biden having appointed Powell. That is also a fact, and not just what Democrats say.

And these remain facts even if the Democratic party is " dysfunctional and falling apart." You are trying to change the subject.
