Pierce Brosnan for me is the face of bond... hes the goldeneye bond and i spent 1000's of hours playing multiplayer on n64 seeing his polygonized face on the 4 split screen... good times

To date, Daniel Craig. In their respective times, I'd add Sean Connery.

Has to be Sean Connery. The definitive Bond and had the best movies.

Ian Fleming's. The movies got dafter and dafter.

Brosnan became he could actually act

Daniel Craig - a more believeable Bond and less reliance on gadgets

Pierce Brosnan but I'm not really a fan of James Bond films overall.

Toss-up between Sean Connery, George Lazenby and Pierce Brosnan.

And the reason I mentioned Lazenby, is due to the fact that On Her Majesty's Secret Service is my favorite James Bond Film of them all.

Pierce brosnan, I've seen them all on dvd and only him and Sean Connery fit the part and did a serious film Roger Moore was more silly and the others didn't really fit the character.

Never liked Bond.

Connery until Craig, but the movies evolved and became grittier during Craig's time.
Also a fan of Dalton, but the films weren't great. Moore and Brosnan were a little cheesy, and Lazenby was no actor.

Just better plot lines, better actors

Sean Connery followed by Roger Moore. They were swave had personality and style.

Sean Connery. He owned the role. The others are all derivatives of Connery.

before daniel craig the budgets were low and effects were obviously poorly done. then the story\plot become impossible to follow all the tangled threads

Not a wise-ass response because, technically, Woody Allen played James "Jimmy" Bond in the 1967 spy comedy spoof Casino Royale. Other than that it would have to be Connery.
