@JSul3 I've always found the scene of the father carrying the dead muddy girl through the street to be wayyyyyyy more disturbing than the scene where the girl gets tossed in the lake.
@WanderingHelplessly LOL My Mom Too... She seen it in Theaters and STILL can't watch it till this day... And it did A LOT of people in when it first came out... HOWEVER... When your me and watch those Ghost Shows... One of them I seen with this real life Exorcist guy... Then I looked him up and he really was an Exorcist in real life... And I watched a video he was doing a seminar at a college and they asked him about in the movie her head spinning around and her levitating and all..and he DID tell them YES demons CAN make you see things like in the movie... But it's not real it's all parlor tricks to scare you... He casts demons out of people every day... They have no real power... And AGAIN that night I woke up with that Hooded figure standing at the end of my bed... And I did... I looked at it and said "I'm not scared of you" and went back to sleep LOL True Story 🙄🙄🙄 They can't do nothing
Vampyr by Carl Dreyer, it's been my #1 horror for many years now,and it's my stock answer. But I must also mention another nifty vampire themed film,from the 90s, the Dracula tale,but with classical music and ballet dancing!! Guy Maddin's Dracula: Pages from a Virgin's Diary is a unique taste of cinema scrumptiousness.
@MrSmartyPants Vampyr is great to watch at 3am when you're drifting in and out of sleep. You can't tell the difference between the film and your dreams.
