@rinkydinkydoink beware the storyline about Captain Pike that was actually going to be the first show. It was turned down as the pilot and they switched up a a couple of actors, including William Shatner as Captain Kirk. Instead of letting it go to waste, Gene Runberry wrapped it into the first couple of episodes.

@Noah9780 Black man and his son running a junkyard in the Watts section of LA in the 1970s. His wife has died. The great Redd Foxx plays Fred Sanford. Just a zany group of characters and honestly the funniest show I have ever seen.
