BrandonWyatt36 · 36-40, M
I watch the Old Next Generation on Pluto Tv app on my Roku TV sometimes ❤❤❤ My favorite was that Tasha Yar Girl... I just found her to be attractive ❤❤❤ and fun fact the same woman that played her played the Mom in the first original Pet Cemetery Movie movie ❤❤❤
WanderingHelplessly · 51-55, MNew
@BrandonWyatt36 Oh, that was her? That kid creeped me out so bad.
BrandonWyatt36 · 36-40, M
@WanderingHelplessly LMAO Yes that was the same Woman... And yeah his name was Gage 🤣🤣🤣😈😈😈 My thing was that Aunt Zelda or whatever... That had the twisted spine and looked all creepy and sh*t FK THAT! 🤣🤣🤣🙅🙅🙅🚫🚫🚫🛑🛑🛑
AdaXI · T
@BrandonWyatt36 I think Zelda was Rachel's (Tasha Yar's) sister if I remember correct but yeah that scene totally freaked me out as a kid as well LOLZ 😅

An old Trekkie who loved ST:TOS, ST:TNG, ST:V, ST:DS9. Found ENTERPRISE a bit of a let down, and most of the more recent series I just can't get into because they seem to have lost the original heart and soul of the series.
Persephone · 51-55, F
Love Star Trek, love some Dr Who (grew up in the Tom Baker era, only caught up with new Who in around 2015. Matt Smith is favourite), Star Wars is ok. Prefer the original trilogy.
whowasthatmaskedman · 70-79, M
I carry a respect for all three. Although Dr Who did go off for a while after Tom Baker in my view..😷
Star wars for me
alongalone · M
I was hooked on original Star Trek series when young. Like Dark Star movie. A few others but not much. Liked original lost in space too
TexChik · F
The genius in the concepts , the CGI, the story lines . All good ( Star Wars ( 1-3)and Star Trek
Gibbon · 70-79, M
I don't like this question. They're not even the same thing like people compare them. It's two complete different universes, two different worlds, two different approaches.
And once Disney got a hold of Star Wars, they totally ruined it.
To me, episodes four, five, and six are the whole world. The rest of it isn't even worth watching.
WanderingHelplessly · 51-55, MNew
@Gibbon It is so I choose to embrace both. I see them taking place in different parts of space. I'd love a crossover with Dr. Who.
Gibbon · 70-79, M
@WanderingHelplessly I stopped watching Doctor Who when the doctor kept changing who Doctor Who is.
Star Wars, in its traditional nine episodes, is supposed to be one continuing story.
The original Star Trek's not the spin-off streaming shows. It's five separated series all taking place in the same universe. Only Enterprise and Voyager were actually continuing stories, although they also had episodes that stand on their own. They were more connected from beginning to end than any of the other series. Although Q had to be in the beginning, and the end of the next generation, he was just an antagonizer. His whole presence was inspired by a single episode of the original Star Trek.
WanderingHelplessly · 51-55, MNew
@Gibbon I can never stop watching the Doctor
lissah · 36-40, F
I dont like either
Munumbis · 46-50, M
I like Star Trek. Star Was leaned more onto fantasy. Dr Who was good but British story telling is more about some point or other they're trying to make and the main plot is secondary. It's frustrating.
Never saw a complete episode of Star Trek (if there's an ST movie, then never that).

I did watch Star Wars because there was a post bout it on SW a couple months ago... by watch I mean the first 10 minutes.
@Gibbon

The most boring you'll ever have the pleasure of knowing... 😁

Gibbon · 70-79, M
@rinkydinkydoink well, in that case...

Both have been ruined sadly. Star Trek Academy is ultra-woke, and the evolution of the Star Wars realm has not been much better.
Liking science fiction doesn't make you "weird". Most people do I think. Those who don't tend not to have much of an imagination, and take life far too seriously.
WanderingHelplessly · 51-55, MNew
@DLight That's my guess. They need to feel the force.
@WanderingHelplessly Or use the sauce! ☺
WanderingHelplessly · 51-55, MNew
@DLight 😂😛

I try a few times here and there getting into Star Trek. I really love Star Wars though.... I ignore the sequels. These days it's the videogames getting made exciting me.
LadyBronte · 61-69, F
I liked the original Star Trek back in the day. I enjoyed the first Star Wars movie when it came out. That's about it. I can't get into Dr. Who.
Jessmari · 46-50, T
Star Trek (among other series not in the scope of the question)

I have tried multiple times to get into Starwars and Dr. Who but it never pans out for me.
WanderingHelplessly · 51-55, MNew
@TheOneyouwerewarnedabout I can see your point, but I still like watching what they come out with.
@WanderingHelplessly , originality, innovation left hollyweird long long long time ago..

Reworking already established franchises is all they do..

Screen entertainment has become passe
GoFish · 41-45, F
i don't know the difference
