@workathome is that the movie with Jet Li?
SpectralMourning · 41-45, M
@workathome So good...came out right around that time after Crouching Tiger where there were so many good martial arts films. Hero, Curse of the Golden Flower, House of the Flying Daggers.

SpectralMourning · 41-45, M
RRR was definitely amazing. I don't think I could pick just one. Some of my favorites are Amores Perros, Amelie, City of God, Downfall, Life is Beautiful, Battle Royale, House of the Flying Daggers.

@SpectralMourning city of god was amazing
samueltyler2 · 80-89, M
That is really difficult,by here have been so many great ones.
Really? Lol I think RRR was over rated but it did well compared to other desi movies to even reach mainstream audiences so I'll always celebrate that lol
Maybe not the very best but this is the first one that came to mind because it was ahead of its time: a Korean movie called The Housemaid (1960). I believe I caught it on TCM.

Monsieur Hulot's Holiday or Les Vacances de Monsiuer Hulot - a Jacques Tati film from 1953 - and no, I wasn't alive when it came out !!!
AngelUnforgiven · 51-55, F
@UKNaturist i'm trying to branch out and try some new things silent would be great its something different.
UKNaturist · M
@AngelUnforgiven - there is noise and dialogue of sorts but you'd have to see it to understand what I mean. A French film but universal due to the no dialogue aspect
