The talking horse was quite popular, so someone came up with the idea of a talking car. In "My Mother the Car", a guy buys a 1928 Porter from a car lot, because when he test drives it he discovers it is the reincarnation of his mother, who speaks to him through the car radio.

The show was so bad it was cancelled before the first season was completed!
