Star Wars.
Never got past the trailer for Top Gun. Took the kids to Star Wars but spent most of the movie fetching popcorn.. Neither movie appealed to me, not into vrooommm vroommm movies.

		@Heartlander
I saw the original Star Wars movie on VCR at a friend's house recently who is a commercial overseas pilot. The most significant part of that movie was the bar scene he told me. This is because it was a typical bar scene from the 1970's as he recalled, filmed at some crowded basement bar at a hotel in downtown London that was filled with airline crew freshly awakened from their 2 hour power-nap, where cigarette smoke filled the air and hand gestures of airplanes flying through space were being waved above the tables which were covered with spilt beer and cigarette ashes where the official met report inside the bar was zero-zero in smoke during happy hour and the place was filled with all kinds of bad actors and other assorted aviation bums from all corners of the galaxy.
You should have at least watched the movie to see the bar scene alone!

@swirlie Yes, I did see the bar scene and yes, very much like many bar visits I remember. Regardless of where, practically every airport on earth had nearby hotels, bars and restaurants where flight crews gathered. Politics changed so fast in the 60s and 70s that multi year transfers were impractical and crews were moved around for temporary duty of a few months at one place and another 2 or 3 months somewhere else, etc. and and we all frequented the same watering holes. And regardless of where we were on earth there was a good chance I'd cross paths with someone(s) I knew from someplace else and everyone would find one another at the bar. I think that was a carry over from the old military officers' clubs where the conduct was pretty much the same.

If that's the case, then this first part you wrote from your previous post is false...

		Comedies. I very rarely like them. I need to get tons of positive feedback before I'll watch them

		Anything with zombies. I can talk about zombies. I can read about zombies. I can listen to a lore podcast going over the entire canon of the resident evil series. But a zombie movie will give me nightmares.
