Furthest back I can remember, would be Salem's Lot (1979 version). Probably was around 6 or 7. I was fine until right around the half way mark, at the floating Danny Glick boy outside the window scene.

Second would be the scene (same movie) where Ben Mears and the kid were in the Marsten house basement. They start moving towards Ben and Mark when they are trying to open Barlows coffin.
Many dreams were had where that crawl space was under my house. 😬

Oh and Barlow was creepy af.

That stuff gave me nightmares as a kid. I also wonder if it's a good show for kids, to broadcast during the saturday morning cartoons. Or as wikipedia cites:

I was 9...my uncle rented Beetlejuice for my friend and I. It was 1991. The scene where the ghost wife and husband begin to literally become skeleton corpses, while standing, it freaking scared us half to DEATH, no pun intended. Omg we even talked about it recently how scared we were!!! 🫨💀 I really like most of the movie though !!

It was terrifying.
I would not watch it now!

What in god's name possessed two (generally sensible responsible) adults to think it is a suitable movie for a ten or eleven year old child??? So FKd up.
