I think netflix has the best movies overall. They have a lot of foreign films that have unexpected plots. We have amazon and disney too, and amazon has some good shows sometimes (watch The Wheel of Time series). Disney is mostly for kids, and the selection is lax IMO.
@UreBesFrend It's just a shame netflix has raised its membership fees

@Pretzel and plex
DavidT8899 · 22-25, M
Tubi is a great go-to on the virtue of being free.Otherwise,I split my time -and subscriptions-between Netflix and Hulu,although I tend to be slightly partial to Hulu because they tend to have better in-house original programming.(Re:The Dropout.)

Go to the store and buy DVD's and I can watch without the need of internet
swirlie · 31-35, F
@SilkenHippie
You're becoming more convincing with each post! I like how you think!
SilkenHippie · 51-55, F
Think about it, you pay for a movie on a streaming service. Say the movie is 5 bucks.

Thats 5 bucks for one showing and you'll get no reimbursements if there in a internet failure or black out.

Now with the DVD
That cost 5 bucks, don't need the Internet, can watch it whenever you want

And you can also use the DVD to start a fire, signal an airplane or ship to rescue you, put a bunch of DVD on the inside of a box and you just made yourself a solar cooking oven to cook food

@SilkenHippie
I'm in! Let's rent a boat and purposely run it aground on a deserted island to see if the DVD's actually work to signal a ship to come and rescue us!

I run between three. Netflix, Amazon Prime and Disney. My wife doesnt get out a lot now, so the streaming services are a lifeline for her. But her attention wander, so I keep several on the go..😷
Theres so many but i like watching youtube more than shows these days
@SStarfish I will admit, youtube does have some great free movies
@mindlessdrifter i like the random personal videos and shows and how to's and educational and documentary stuff
@SStarfish It sure offers quite an experience
WanderlustCat · 36-40, M
I hate them all equally now. Now that theres so many services its as bad as choosing cable packages was to get all the stuff you want to see.
minxy · 46-50, F
I've found that Tubi doesn't let me down.
No cost, great selection and user friendly.
I pay for Prime and it's slow, crappy selection and not very user friendly.
I watched Tubi to death. Now I need new movies. I watch Pluto sometimes. I usually take turns between Netflix and Hulu
royalblue1193 · 31-35, M
Tubi is good besides the ads
@royalblue1193 I agree, tubi is a great alternative :)
Coralmist · 41-45, F
@mindlessdrifter I need to check out Tubi. I can't afford sny extra streaming service right now. Thanks!📺
Thevy29 · 41-45, M

DDonde · 31-35, M
I don't watch much, so I tend to use Amazon prime video instead of a subscription service.
I have Hulu, Prime and Acorn.
iamonfire696 · 41-45, F
