Not sure it's the worst one, but Firestarter comes to mind. I really like Stephen King books, which is why I was looking forward to seeing the screen adaptation of that movie.
In spite of the 'big names' in it, the movie was pretty bad. Even considering that it was based on one of his not so great books, it was pretty bad.

@Piper I like King and I was really disappointed by the Under the Dome mini-series.
TBH though, The Stand is still pretty good. It was a very literal adaptation and it was so well done that it is still a decent watch even now.

@Burnley123 I wasn't, so much. There are quite a few screen adaptions of Stephen King's novels and short stories that I didn't think were very good, but I did not see them at a cinema.
Then there are the screen adaptions of his novella and serial novel, that I think are at least as good as the works they were based on.

@JRVanguard the grudge was horrible. Including the other installments following it. He remake of black Christmas was pretty good.

Last movie I saw at cinema hall was in 2012. Dark knight rises, it wasn't bad at all. Normally I don't go to cinemas. 🤷

@StrawberryMilkshake I normally download movies and then watch them months later. 😑 I don't think I'm much into movies generally except some action & horror ones.

@SW-User usually going to the theater isn't really worth it. But u got to see a movie in 3D. Now thst is a fun experience
Punches · 46-50, F
About fifty shades freed, it seems like a lot of people did not care for it. I have not seen any of them.
Interesting though on most days you can go to any thrift store and find plenty of copies of all three books.
That along with the entire Twilight series AND the "Left behind" series.
Books that people used to pre-order or wait outside overnight for. NOW they can barely give them away.

I would never see those movies but I did read the books. I didn't find them distasteful at all. @Punches
Punches · 46-50, F
@Spoiledbrat I know very little about them other than it is fetlife type stuff.
If you ever were just dying to see them, you can probably find the DVDs at the same thrift stores that carry umpteen copies of the books.
OH and that movie "Speed", plenty of those also but try not to be greedy with them. Don't buy all 10 copies. 😄

@Punches well that is usually how it goes with books after they came out. A store would order to many. So after a few year's u see the books and movie's price drops a lot

I was at the target age range for that movie when it came out which means you were a bit too old.

Lesbian Vampire Killers.
Written by and starring James Corden.
My friend was depressed and I said I'd go to any movie with him and that is the movie he picked Some movies are so bad, they come out the other side and become hood. This movie was so bad, it did a further revolution and became bad again,

If anyone was gonna get brought back, it should've been Darth Plagueis, Sidious' former master. He would've been something new yet already established and a bigger threat (him being the master of sidious).
"He could save others from death, but he could not save himself" plot twist! What if he did save him self? ...If he could bring others from the dead...

Back when I was a kid in summer camp, they took us to the movies to see The Neverending Story. After watching it, I realized I do not like fantasy movies. A few weeks later, they took us to see Annie. Completely corny and tacky.

I also sae the fourth transformers movie at the cinema. The only reason that it wasn't my worst movie experience is that I literally fell asleep in the cinema. It was baaaaaaaaaaaaad.

Probably "Snakes on a plane".
I imagine the idea looked good on paper. It just, it was blah.
OH and that remake of Poltergeist. They took a cult classic and wiped their butts with it.

@SW-User Sounds like it could be about some country boy trying to sell a rusted out 1980 Chevrolet sitting in his barn. "Dat dere chevy done runned real good back when I parked it 20 years ago"
My sister and I walked out of some movie called "Ready to wear".
About half way through she said, "Do you feel like taking off?" All I could think was, "Oh Thank goodness!"

Tie between Eight Legged Freaks - to this day the only film I have ever fallen asleep during in the cinema - and the pretentious shit that was Bodysong or Body Song...I don't know whether two words or one it is so beneath me to google it. Unremarkable, pretentious tripe.
