It depends on who they are in your life; it's easier said than done when you are a family member, a friend, or even a romantic partner. If this is the case, move yourself away gradually, although usually they won't even care that you left their lives because most narcs aren't even aware they are the problem.

No contact, or minimize contact. The less you interact with them, the better. The key is to avoid being manipulated or victimized by them.

Understand them.. And this is simpler than you think. In fact Gamers already have it down. The Narcissist is the first person player in the game.. Everyone else is just an NPC. To be used, scored from or pushed aside.. Thats everyone else..Some NPCs are more useful than others or worth more points. But they are still NPCs. Never forget that..😷
