It's not any different than having a medical condition and being given medicine for it. If you had diabetes for example you would take diabetes medicine. You wouldn't see yourself as "less than" or "weak" or whatever for needing it. There is absolutely nothing wrong with needing meds for mental health reasons. It shows you are taking charge of your mental health and doing what is best for you. Some people can get by without medicine-good for them! Some people can't-that is totally ok!

Because taking pills tells your brain that it's something you can't control. Not being in control doesn't feel good, especially when you're already depressed and presumably have low self-esteem. It's just one more thing you can't manage, and your brain tells you all kinds of lies about what that means about you as a person.

@Smartygirl24 oh okay, well, idk, if it were say, Jordan Peterson I would say yes, but most are corrupt, money hungry, but also are some that actually try to help, so, it's hard to say... But seems like trial and error with those, some help, some make things worse, be safe.
