A lot of the big falls are simple real... though they try to make this as safe as possible to land on...
Like supposedly the fake tables (when they work right) are more comfortable to land on than the outside padded floors.
I can't find one with Austin, but Undertaker through Rikishi off, and and a lot of safer stuff went flying, not saying it was a safe landing, but they tried to make it softer

@sstronaut I for one am always interested in the behind the scenes stuff with that. For example, I'm sure this will come as no surprise, but a professional wrestling ring is built for the premise purpose of echoing and amplifying any and all impacts. To that end, they place boards rather loosely over the top of springs, so that you get a thunderous echo even when you so much as stomp your foot. Then they put just enough safety padding over the top of that so that you can't get too hurt landing on your back. Essentially, what you hear when you're watching a pro wrestling match is these boards bouncing up and down against metal springs over a hollow space underneath. It's literally an echo chamber.
Many things, but to keep it simple and short: I love music and pizza. If asking who I love, that’s another short list but it supersedes what I love any day.
