@Darksideinthenight2 Actually he did.
The Russians don't have much money. When Biden restricted domestic energy production, energy supplies fell and prices more than doubled.
The Russians profited from the high energy prices. Those profits created the finanacing for the war.

@HoraceGreenley The fake liberal news doesn't exactly cover this type of thing (anything detrimental to a democrat). So how would anyone who has been indoctrinated by the liberal news even know this? They certainly surrendered their ability to reason when they bought into the nonsense that Putin caused the problem.
But the funniest part of the response is:
What a ridiculous claim
The good thing is that teens won’t be so tempted to buy eggs and egg cars and buildings at that price will they?
TheDisciplinarian · 61-69, M
@cherokeepatti except those who Simply Steel the eggs
cherokeepatti · 61-69, F
@TheDisciplinarian I bet they’ll be watched on camera. There’s a store I go to that I rarely got checked by the greeter and now they hired a man and are checking me every time, even with one bag of stuff. They don’t want those eggs to go missing.
CestManan · 46-50, F
@TheDisciplinarian Hey, as an aside - do you at least count to ten before disciplining?
RosaMarie · 41-45, F
Those better be ostrich eggs at that price.
TexChik · F
3 doz for $12.00 in Texas. $50 for 15 dozen
cherokeepatti · 61-69, F

Were they Faberge eggs?
Zaphod42 · 46-50, M
Where the hell was that? I live in SoCal…egg prices are a little less than double a couple years ago here, which is still a bit less than a quarter of your claim

If you are mad, now is a good time for you to investigate who owns the farms in this country.
QueenOfTheNerds · 41-45, F
I just bought my regular 3 dozen from the grocery store and they were just over $14.
Spoiledbrat · F
Yeah. We've been getting ours from Costco.
redredred · M
I can get a 24 pack at Costco for less that $10

CestManan · 46-50, F
@Jackaloftheazuresand
organic cage free non gmo gluten free zero sugar no transfat sustainable eggs
Hmm, do those eggs have any MORE buzz word characteristics? 🤨
When I guy eggs, I just get "extra large"

@CestManan for $5 I can make them dolphin safe
cherokeepatti · 61-69, F
What kind of store was that? Walmart was selling a 60-count box of eggs for $28.32 but have dropped their price to $19.98 for the same box now and it’s been over a week.
ronisme1 · 61-69, M
Corporate greed. Business owners greed. I just retired from a company who had to raise their prices 40% because the costs went up 40%. But just so they got their greed going, they raised the prices another 35-40% they said because the wages went up after they laid off 30% of the workers. Their wages went down overall and the minimum wage only went up about 16%. Its called greed
3 dollars a dozen here
CestManan · 46-50, F
@SheCallsMeCrushDaddy that sounds about right.
cherokeepatti · 61-69, F

WTF!!! I just bought a pack of 15 eggs for £3.50! That converts to $4.31! Why are eggs so expensive with you????
cherokeepatti · 61-69, F
@Fluffybull I started hearing reports late last summer of government officials going to egg farmers and telling them that their hens had bird flu and they would destroy up to a million hens at a time. This happened in several states in the central part of the USA. I’ve also heard reports of two officials being arrested and charged for crimes in relation to this.
Mardrae · F
That’s insane. They’re somewhere between $7-$10 where I live and I just do without them. Can’t really have them anyway.
CestManan · 46-50, F
Where the heck are they THAT much unless they are some kind of super fancy ones that privileged millenials buy.
allygator18 · 22-25, F
nstead of buying groceries..you are not eating by protesting egg prices

What the market brings. Endless war, ecosystem death. You get what Washington gives out.
Captainjackass · 31-35, M
That’s ridiculous, it’s gotten expensive here but only a few dollars more at most.

Wow. That's ridiculous. I pay 3 dollars for a dozen.
And i thought 8$ for 18 eggs here was high 😳
ABCDEF7 · M
You can consider having a hen in your backyard.
littlepuppywantanewlife · 31-35, M

ViciDraco · 36-40, M
We've got a mix of Avian Flu decimating large factory farmed chicken operations while feed is being impacted by speculation of how Russia's war on Ukraine may impact global grain prices next season and groups of agriculture corporations looking to do some price fixing to raise profit margins using the other two factors as an excuse.
