@tenente Oh! I forgot about my tariff refund check! With the economy soaring so high, such a small pittance is barely worth going to the bank for, but i suppose i should if for no other reason than to help our illustrious administration maintain their balanced spending reports 😏

@Zaphod42 even with prices rising, the economy is doing very well...gas prices continue to fluctuate, and my 401k is continually going up.

@ElwoodBlues Well of course he’ll deliver! We were promised tariff refund checks, and we all got those, right? And those DOGE checks, they came right on schedule, right? He promised there would be no new wars, and he’s kept that, didn’t he? He said he’d end the Russia/Ukraine conflict on day one, and it’s been a beautiful lasting peace ever since, right? He said he’d reduce the national dept, and it’s lower than it’s ever been, isn’t it? Gas and groceries are certainly lower than when the last guy was in office, aren’t they? So with that track record, what makes you think the $5k checks are a bait and switch? 😶
