Yes. I don't join the fray (too overwhelming for my mind,) but I feel fulfillment every time I've made another person feel better about themself from something I've said or written or done. It makes me feel I've just at that moment slipped a tiny new pebble into the foundation of Civilization. It's my retail way of helping to shore it up, while wholesale attacks threaten it from all directions.
