Do you eat dinner at the table or sitting in front of the TV?

In my parents' house as I was growing up, and in our house as we raised our daughter, and today with just my wife and me living here, the TV is off at dinnertime and we eat at the table.

I don't get people who eat any major meal while watching TV, especially some action movies or the news. I tried that and figured out that I need peace and silence and to focus on eating. 😅

In the summer, I usually eat outside on the deck. We have a fire pit that acts as a table too.

On Saturday nights we eat dinner watching TV, the rest of the week around the table.

It's just me and bf. We eat in front of the TV. 🤷🏻‍♀

Even when I had a television, it was just either for console gaming, or, used as a PC monitor.
