I don't know what that means.

I had a phase a few years back when I disconnected from myself hardcore. Deliberately went out of my way to feed the self-destruction within because I thought the tearing down of myself was a way to build myself back up in a better form…but I knew deep down that wasn’t the true reasoning. A part of my soul had died and I didn’t see the point of trying to save the rest of it. Was one of my biggest low points, but also one of the biggest lessons learned in life.

Sort of. I'm too broke for surgery or buying things and as much as I don't like being alone I like socializing even less.
Plus, with this thing where it feels like my body doesn't belong to me. That the Point of view I get through my eyes is wrong... I forget the name of this, but the only way to combat it is through diet and exercise... Well f#ck. 😒

I don't think that those things alienate you from yourself . I think that those things might be luxuries , but there is nothing wrong with improving yourself and living well, if it is not done to excess.

I think that when someone is lost within themself is when they spend too much time living their life for others, like a parent might do for their children or someone who works too much and does not have any time for entertainment or spending time with friends.

Hmmm. Interesting. I feel like I’ve developed a sense of meaninglessness and honestly most of the time I’m good being alone.

I have in the past, a few years ago. I didn't like myself much then. Felt trapped in many ways, not myself.
But...thats not the case anymore.
Im back, i know who i am and im happy with that.

Yeah I am going through that phase bc I can’t even focus on a basic prayer or meditation and I keep having nightmares but my bf and church friends are helping me with it

I have alienated others from my life that were toxic.

I think i have but the reasons are more about who i had to become in order to survive.
