Have you become alienated from yourself??

This happens when we lose connection with our inner self and adopt a sense of meaninglessness … that’s when we try to find our identity in things outside of us .. like doing cosmetic surgery, buying luxurious things that we don’t need .. we adapt unnecessary habits and cannot stand staying alone ….

I had a phase a few years back when I disconnected from myself hardcore. Deliberately went out of my way to feed the self-destruction within because I thought the tearing down of myself was a way to build myself back up in a better form…but I knew deep down that wasn’t the true reasoning. A part of my soul had died and I didn’t see the point of trying to save the rest of it. Was one of my biggest low points, but also one of the biggest lessons learned in life.

You’re so full of life that it makes it hard for me to believe this … on the other hand, only those of us who have experienced pain in our hearts can appreciate life and it’s beauty …

I’m so glad to see you strong back on your feet and that you took care of that hard time … 🤗🌹❤️

@Soossie We’ll said.

It’s all about the mask, my dear. Can’t let others get a glimpse of the fight underneath because bringing them down with me feels too selfish to do…and sometimes I honestly felt like I deserved the hell I couldn’t crawl out of. I found my way out that time though, and in doing so I proved to myself and those inner demons that I had the strength and will to live to do it. Sometimes that’s the most powerful weapon against the darkness…proving to ourselves that we deserve more. 💞🤗
@PerfectionOfTheHeart
