My dad and I stole a Christmas tree once.
For context, we went down to Steve's Market, a little corner store in Oregon City where the prices weren't always great but it was family owned, so everybody went there. They had a bunch of trees in the parking lot for sale, and dad and I stopped there. Nobody was out in the parking lot doing sales, and it didn't occur to either of us to go inside to find out what was going on. We waited out by the sign for what felt like an hour, but I couldn't say for sure. Eventually, dad told me to open the back of the car, and we put one in and drove off, feeling like criminals.

I lifted a box of Titleist golf balls (1 dozen) from a pro shop when I was about 16.

@MoveAlong Dental hygiene is very important, the theft was that and deodorant from a grocery store it was the beginning of the end for me as my life became completely unmanageable. I recall the day vividly, I was at the store with a friend's daughter, she was getting lunch and I had been up for a day or two and needed self-care, I made the wrong decision. 😥
