My work is pretty close to the edge. The fact that everyone consents makes it ok. Not sure about what goes on in other third world countries. I've seen some strange goings on for sure.

I don't think jail or legal consequences are the main reason most people don't commit crimes.

They don't commit crimes because they want to be good, have alternatives and more stability and have empathy. And sometimes they just dont want to stress themselves. Committing crimes is much work.

There are many listed as crimes that shouldn't be crimes and then there are real crimes.
