I'm sure everyone has. I used roam my neighbourhood nude when younger that was definitely pushing it
PatKirby · M
@andrewbarclave

I streaked in front of a radio station when I was 12, does that count?

LadyJ · F

@LadyJ
Didja get a thrill?

Well huh? Didja?

I know I did, bwahahaha!
I've been driving for 28 years and have probably gone through maybe 100 red lights.
SW-User
@latinbutterfly you are hilarious 😂

Never got caught?
Slade · 56-60, M
@latinbutterfly have you been pulled over and taken down your blouse a button or 2 for the cop approaching? Most women have tried that and it's usually successful
@latinbutterfly LOL! I've run a whole bunch too. Finally got caught by a camera.
LunarOrbit · 56-60, M
I almost went to jail for 10 years.

I was lucky the judge believed what happened.

No criminal record but I had to pay restitution and do community hours.
SW-User
@LunarOrbit oh that is horrifying! I'm glad u didn't go through that
LunarOrbit · 56-60, M
@SW-User My life would have been ruined. I was very lucky
SW-User
@LunarOrbit an angel was disguised as your judge
SW-User
I hardly stop at stop signs ever. When I was younger I was very eager to break speed limits but now that I'm an old man, I've slowed down significantly
SW-User
@SW-User hahaha! How i wish u were younger than me. R u from the Philippines? I see Manila in ur username
SW-User
@SW-User Yeah that "manila" confuses many. I'll have to do something about that.
SW-User
@SW-User It's a good confusion because i love Filipinos. 💘
Repete · 61-69, M
Yes two many to list but all were minor things. We have to many stupid laws in my opinion.
Carazaa · F
@Repete The difference is your eyes are on the road verses on your phone.
Repete · 61-69, M
If I use my phone like a phone , not texting then my eyes are not on the phone . If I was texting that would be different and I agree that is a distraction.@Carazaa
SW-User
@Carazaa the worse is when u r furiously texting someone😞
RubySoo · 56-60, F
I stole 1 red opal fruit ( starburst) from a split bag on a supermarket shelf back when i was about 10. I put it in my pocket and felt so guilty. Going through the checkout, i was convinced someone would stop me and ask me to empty my pockets, but they didnt. On the way home i opened it and ate it, all the time thinking i might choke and it would serve me right.
Honestly..... i never stole again i felt so bad!!!
I purchased and consumed alcohol and cigs under age ( didn't we all?) and ive trespassed a number of times in old interesting places, but I consider myself a law abiding citizen on the whole!! Lol. X
SW-User
@RubySoo aww u r so cute to feel guilty about it. LOL
Carazaa · F
Yes, I've driven faster than the speed limit before when late to work. I don't any more though.

I've walked on a red light before. I don't any more though,

I accidentally scratched another car when parking and I drove away, but then I prayed and returned and put my phone number on their windshield. God was good, and so were they, they told me that the scratch came off and no biggy.

At least i've never stolen anything, and when the governor tells us the mask mandates, and the 6 feet distance, and the no social gatherings rules I obey it all. 😂
SW-User
@Carazaa oh i have had quite a few accidents because of rash driving LOL
Mktonght · 61-69, M
High school.
Drunk and steeling hub caps off cars for no particular reason. (oops)
PatKirby · M
@Mktonght
Forget the oops, sounds like you got a cheap thrill!
SW-User
@Mktonght Oh God! Tht's so funny. You were the mischievous one. 🤣

PatKirby · M
I was a bad kid growing up, too many. I set fire to a neighbor's garage roof and car for hiding my AKC registered white German Shepard puppy in his house, I broke into a drive-in theater and broke the snack machine and left the butter dispenser running overnight all over the floor, heisted some returnable bottles for cash using fishing rods from atop a store's roof, snagged records from a record shop, I also used to throw mud-covered rocks with friends at the passing cars on the highway they built right behind the house. Did all that before 13. One day we got caught by a juvenile parole officer from juvenile hall who drove back after we pelted his car with big muddy rocks who made us confess to our parents.

Funny, just two years ago I ended up working in the IT department for the very same juvenile hall justice center. I guess karma doesn't forget a face.
SW-User
@PatKirby Oh my my ! You were quite something. But what's the reason to do that ? - just some, cheap thrills or you used to get a high from doing that? I know we can be mischievous :) I am just curious to know.

I am glad you believe in the Hindu philosophy of KARMA. Oh trust me! it never forgets a face - even of the ones who wronged u.
PatKirby · M
@SW-User

When I worked at that juvenile justice center I noticed the place was packed full of minors with serious, serious problems. I mean bad. One killed his parent and was on the local news, another was constantly running away, a girl kept trying suicide by cutting herself, and of course there were those who robbed using guns and knives. I asked about 8/10 parole officers why all these kids have such serious problems and keep acting out. Got a harsh answer from each of them straight - they all said it was because of the parents.

See they all said that the parents were usually young themselves, married not so much because of love for each other but more because they couldn't stand their abusive parents themselves. Therefore they themselves were not prepared to raise children, and abused their kids as they were abused themselves. This is at the core of the problem, the parents not having the skills necessary to properly give love, attention and care to their own kids. Parents never admit it. Every single one of the parole officers said the same thing. In my case, I can attest to that fact. Not everyone grows up in a proper environment and it takes decades, even a lifetime, to understand the causes yourself and have the 'where with all' to mature into a proper law abiding, civil, socially responsible adult yourself.

Life throws a lot of adversity at you, it's your responsibility to weather the storm yourself - no one else's. Hope this helps explain things.
SW-User
@PatKirby I completely agree with you that how a person becomes and behaves depends a lot on how their environment at home was.

When you are raised in a broken family system, as a child you only Mimick what you see and it severely impacts the child's psychological development.

While parents should always pay attention to their child but It's very important to give special attention to a child from age 8 because this is a crucial age of psychological development.
Beatbox34 · 31-35, M
Yes.

I have found loopholes in the law. Not my fault though if they left it there.
OKWTF2 · 51-55, M
By court order I can say I do NOT have a record.

At least in Nevada.
SW-User
@OKWTF2 Interesting. Makes me curious.
SW-User
I regret my shoplifting and break and enter days. I fell in with the wrong crowd and want nothing to do with them anymore. Never caught, thankfully!
SW-User
@SW-User you are so sweet. I am glad your conscience told you that it is a wrong thing to do.
SW-User
@LordShadowfire Always like to meet people who realise their mistakes and learn from it. U r a good person.
PatKirby · M
@SW-User
I understand.

Please understand that I was that leader of that riff raff crowd who couldn't wait for the full moon to rise to release the Kracken on a Saturday night.
Just moving violations...speeding a few times. Ran a red light once.
OldBrit · 61-69, M
Yes.
A few police cautions but never charged.
Was interviewed under caution on a very serious charge but never charged and investigation dropped after a while.
OldBrit · 61-69, M
@SW-User nope not long after I went into rehab and that madness stopped
SW-User
@OldBrit U seem to have had a tough life🥺
OldBrit · 61-69, M
@SW-User lol not really I just am an addict with self sabotage tenancies.
Iwillwait · M
I have done a few regrettable things.
SW-User
@Iwillwait as long as u realised it. Thsts what matters
Nice try , Officer.
SW-User
@Ihopetolivehappily Oh how I wish i was an undercover agent looking for confessions here 🤣
Yes - Kinky against the law type of sex.
Zaphod42 · 46-50, M
Due to the hundreds of thousands of state and federal laws, some of which conflict with each other, the average American breaks an average 100 laws a day without ever knowing it. For example, going the speed limit can be illegal in some states if everyone else is speeding and you fail to keep up with the average speed of traffic.
Repete · 61-69, M
I hear you , it’s posted here also on the interstates as minimum speed of like 50 mph but it is also posted as a maximum and because others are speeding is not an argument that would work in court here anyway.@Zaphod42
SW-User
@Zaphod42 now that's interesting to me that the laws differ so much but so troublesome to the citizens
SW-User
@Zaphod42 On flyovers r speed limit is 80, very rarely 60 and on express ways, it is 80 but everyone does 120-140.

Yes, I conspired with myself to take over the world and install myself as dictator. Then I would be guilty of creating prosperity and world peace.
Barefooter25 · 46-50, M
I've gotten a few tickets here and there. One time I was at Mardi Gras with an ex and we were both drinking alcoholic beverages in a car as passengers. A friend of hers was driving and she wasn't drinking. I was in my 20s and we were on our way back to her place. I never did that again.
SW-User
@Barefooter25 i have quite a lot of experiences as well when it comes to having alcohol. Never been proud of it
Barefooter25 · 46-50, M
@SW-User We are all young once and we all try things that we never do again as time goes on.
romper69 · 51-55, M
Does murder count?
Carazaa · F
@romper69 Jesus forgives ALL sin if we trust and follow him!
SW-User
@romper69 ya under criminally charged. First degree, second degree, manslaughter? Assuming not the first else u won't be chatting 😧

You know everytime you are involved with oral sex you are commiting sodomy. All those laws are still on the books.

I'd say the rate here is 100%. And I help drive up those numbers🙋‍♂️
SW-User
@Slade oral sex is illegal?????????????????????
Slade · 56-60, M
@SW-User The laws are atill on the books. Usually only enforced when done without consent

Goes for anal too. Or any sexual act that cannot result in pregnany
Yes and I had to go to jail for the night and then the judge made me pay the highest fee there was!! 😩😭 so now I try to obey the laws because jail is really awful. I could not live there.
SW-User
@SweetNSassy Ha! You sound fun. What are we doing this weekend?
@SW-User staying outta trouble 😇

Charged with Assault Occasioning Bodily Harm ( Put a guy in hospital ( broken jaw & teeth ) for attacking a female )

Court Directed that the charge against me be dismissed (Section 10(1)a
SW-User
@SW-User Well done, boy! I understand you broke his jaw because he attacked a female, right?
SW-User
@SW-User Correct
Hell, if we're counting traffic offenses, I've broken the law hundreds of times. Just last night, I was doing 80 in a 55. Thing is, that wasn't fast enough for somebody, and he passed me on the right doing 100.

@Darksideinthenight2 i swear! i just hate the laws behind some silly things like talking on phone and driving or speed limit of 80 when i was only driving at 82 - i was fined 1000 indian rupees (about $14).

@Amylynne actually i had gone months without doing so, tbh. I did think a lot when u quoted that and i am certain I didn't.

@Amylynne Interestingly, i have studied law. And i know the law very well being professionally a paralegal.

Never limit ur knowledge to academics. There's something called as practical experience. We learn more when we are open to perspectives.

If you wish to drag this topic too then do it on private message. I'm kinda getting tired of arguments.
