Does anyone else have a fascination with stinging insects?

No. I have been stung too many times by wasps and yellow jackets.

By the time I am fascinated, I will be dead.

I am interested in knowing how to identify them and their habitats in order to avoid / remove them.

I've had some nasty below-ground stinging insects.
