In a way there was still a pandemic - one of fear.

Interestingly, fear is one of the best ways to control people
Kiesel · 56-60, M
@OogieBoogie agreed and exactly

Take a look at Dr Yeadon's record.

Michael Yeadon is a retired pharmacologist and former Pfizer employee who became a prominent figure in the anti-vaccine movement during the COVID-19 pandemic due to his widely debunked claims about the virus, public health measures, and vaccines. He served as a chief scientist and vice-president of the allergy and respiratory research division at Pfizer until he left in 2011, a role that did not involve vaccine research and development.
Key Claims and Facts
Yeadon made numerous claims that have been widely fact-checked and found to be false or misleading by health experts and fact-checking organizations:
"Pandemic is effectively over": In an October 2020 op-ed, Yeadon claimed the COVID-19 pandemic in the UK was "effectively over" and that there would be no second wave, which was contradicted by subsequent surges in cases and deaths.
Vaccine safety and necessity: He claimed that COVID-19 vaccines were unnecessary, unsafe, and inadequately tested. Public health organizations and clinical data have proven the vaccines to be safe and effective, with benefits far outweighing the risks.
Infertility claims: Yeadon co-authored a petition in December 2020 that falsely suggested mRNA vaccines could cause infertility in women by targeting a placental protein called syncytin-1. This claim lacks biological plausibility, has been widely debunked, and data from vaccinated pregnant women showed no increased incidence of placental damage or poor fetal outcomes.
Asymptomatic spread: He falsely claimed that asymptomatic transmission of the virus was not possible. Scientific studies have confirmed that people without symptoms can spread the virus.
Lockdowns and masks: Yeadon discouraged lockdowns and the use of face masks, despite evidence for their effectiveness in slowing transmission.
Risk to children: He made a false claim that children were significantly more likely to be killed by the COVID-19 vaccines than the virus itself, a statement found to be baseless by public health officials.
Summary
Michael Yeadon has become a central figure in the anti-vaccine movement, with his past role at Pfizer often cited to lend credibility to his claims. However, his assertions regarding the COVID-19 pandemic have been repeatedly debunked by the scientific and medical community as false or unfounded.

It was manufactured but the crux of the matter is bodily autonomy imo. If you wanted to mask up, stay 2m away from other humans, lock yourself in your house for 23 hours a day, inject yourself multiple times with mrna you go for it......and if you dont want to partake in any of that also go for it.

There never should have been a 2 tier society based on these decisions but there was. Didnt partake in government/big pharma decrees you were punished. A gross time in the human story and hopefully many have leant/remembered the age old lesson of bodily autonomy.
samueltyler2 · 80-89, M
@gol979 You are confusing several things in your discussion. In general, an individual should have control over their life. However, there is also such a thing as the better good of society. Shouldn't we all look out for the less fortunate in society and help protect them from harm. there are many times when we surrender some control. We have laws in society that set us aside from lower animals. It is impossible to go for a day without the impact we have on others. with a life threatening pandemic, of the possibility of other outbreaks, we need to surrender some control. We need clean air and water, we need a level of immunity to prevent outbreaks of illnesses. One of the greatest advances in modern public health was the invention of vaccines. I was a pediatric resident in the 1960s, that was really not that long ago, but I saw children dying from diseases that most people probably have not even heard of today, other children whose lives were ruined by the side effects of other now preventable illnesses which left them deaf, blind or so physically damaged that they need long term care.

the decrees as you put them, were based on science and to protect you. i suggest that rather that the time being a gross time for what you say, it will be remembered as when a small noisy group did serious damage to the advancement of human life and scientific methods. We are now already seeing thee downstream effect in the measle, and whooping cough outbreaks in several states in the US.

The Covid 19 pandemic was real! I saw it first hand and worked practically around the clock with Covid19 patients during those years.
AmericanAvenger · 56-60, M
@Nitedoc It wasn't a pandemic that required shutting down the country and killing the livelihoods of Americans. Corrupt Democrat politicians like Pelosi and Newsome proved this when they were caught flaunting restrictions that they placed on us.
Nitedoc · 51-55, M
@AmericanAvenger I don't recall saying that it did!
AmericanAvenger · 56-60, M
@Nitedoc Then it wasn't a real pandemic and it was a farce perpetrated on the American people - perhaps overshadowed by only the farce of Barack Obama: the greatest trick ever pulled on America (especially black America)

Sarah how are u and yes i do believe this guy.
SunshineGirl · 36-40, F
Dr Yeadon (who left Pfizer in 2011) achieved notoreity in 2020-21 for promoting Covid conspiracy theories via his social media outlets and making several unsubstantiated claims about the efficacy of vaccines. His claim in this video that "there was no pandemic" directly contradicts his announcement in October 2020 (also false) that "the pandemic is over".

Dr Yeadon's thesis is on the respiratory system of rats. He has no professional background in vaccine research and no qualification to speak with authority on the subject.

🥱 Ignorance is a bliss.
SunshineGirl · 36-40, F
@Sarasmiles Don't die of ignorance, it is so unnecessary.

@SunshineGirl
It was a dummy test to see who falls into that category.

He’s just one man. It changes nothing.

How many large corporations have an ex employer with a grudge? All of them.
AdmiralPrune · 41-45, M
@Sarasmiles Your profile says your just here to hang out.

Why are you just another politics bot?
Sarasmiles · 41-45
@AdmiralPrune
You must be bot yourself. 🤢
AdmiralPrune · 41-45, M
@Sarasmiles This guy didn’t even work for Pfizer for years before the pandemic. Your point is laughable.
Levenrack · 46-50, M
Don't know about a pandemic, but people definitely had the shits, which in turn caused the Great TP War of 2020. If I were smarter, I would have bought a bidet which would have saved money and comfort. 🫤
samueltyler2 · 80-89, M
@Levenrack you and others. It took weeks until everyone understood that it was a potential prpblem, not real.
Levenrack · 46-50, M
@samueltyler2 oh so I actually had it, just didn't realize I should take it from my neighbors. 🤔

I 100% understand what you're saying, I'm just saying I had trouble getting my hands on it, cause the TP supply chain was running into difficulties, supplying my stores.
samueltyler2 · 80-89, M
@Levenrack yes, the rumor caused a run on the stores.
Convivial · 26-30, F
So everyone who died from vivid actually died from the vaccine...?
So how come people were dying before the vaccine was invented.....?
Can’t find a cure for cancer after 50 years and a trillion dollars.
But 4 independent pharmaceutical companies can find the cure for Covid, have it patented and in millions of arms within months..

Nothing sus
samueltyler2 · 80-89, M
@TheOneyouwerewarnedabout cancer encompasses many diagnoses. There are much better therapies than 50 years ago, many amount to cures. COVID was one virus and the research involved with the vaccines to prevent, not cute it, has been ongoing for over 30 years.
@samueltyler2 hey man… i said nothing sus..

The jabbed will always convince themselves they made the right choice.. even as multitudes of evidence come out about the lies to get them jabs into ppls arms..
samueltyler2 · 80-89, M
@TheOneyouwerewarnedabout i suggest you reread what you wrote, before you deny it. Maybe erase it so it won't be visible by anyone trading this. What were the lies that you alluded to, that the vaccine was the most thoroughly tested new medication/vaccine in history, the safest and most effective? Care to share the proof that none of that is true?
samueltyler2 · 80-89, M
How did the "hoax" kill so many in so many countries?
samueltyler2 · 80-89, M
@Sarasmiles unlike you I am a scientist, have been involved in research and am following the science.
Sarasmiles · 41-45
@samueltyler2
🥴🤣 Do you want me to believe what you say when you spend years daily on here, a place full of fakers?
samueltyler2 · 80-89, M
@Sarasmiles honestly, i could care less what YOU believe. I hope that no one believes what you post because it contains false and dangerous information. If you are even a real person, you should go back and learn science before you try to quote nonsense.

Me... it was a massive psyop to get the sheeple poisoned with a "vaccine"
AmericanAvenger · 56-60, M
It was the biggest farce in American history
