Often enough I think 2/3 of our spoons have rough sharp edges from the disposal. Between the spoons and the forks that almost all have one tine bent askew, I think it's time to buy a new set of flatware.

I have never done that.
But I presume anything metal would be fine after a clean.
Maybe not wood. But it depends on how exposed it got, I suppose.
