Yep, I have all ten as well!
Justmeraeagain · 56-60, F
I'm finally a ten!
@Sojournersoul I don't remember having aluminum ice trays; they were plastic. We had 2 TVs in the house.
@MsSwan my grandma had the aluminum trays and didn’t have a second tv until I bought myself a little one for my room.
@Sojournersoul I think I remember my grandma having the aluminum trays also. So I guess I got 9.
JimboSaturn · 56-60, M
We never had metal ice cube trays but the rest I know well.
Ontheroad · M
10 out of 10.
Sutten · 36-40, F
I did 4,5,6,7,9 and 10.
JimboSaturn · 56-60, M
I still hang clothes outside, good for the environment and my wallet.
justbob · 61-69, M
samueltyler2 · 80-89, M
All of them.
exexec · 70-79, C
All 10. There sure are a lot of old people on here.
Magenta · F
8.
We almost never watched tv growing up. In fact I can't recall having one for many years.
samueltyler2 · 80-89, M
@Magenta we were never rich, and lived in an apartment, a floor in a 2 floor walk up, but my father loved gadgets and so we were the first on our block to have a tv, a tiny little screen in B & W. The neighbors would come over to watch such things as baseball, the circus, etc.
Magenta · F
@samueltyler2 Ah interesting and probably good memories.
We lived in the country and were outdoors a lot.
samueltyler2 · 80-89, M
@Magenta we had a fishing shack out on Long Island and had very little chance to watch YV since it was way further than the NYC signals went. I was able to mount a huge roof antennae and got signal from Connecticut.

a friend in college had the first color tv i ever watched. i remember we watched a Rose Bowl game and although the image started out in color, by the end it reverted to black and white, there was not enough light in the stadium to provide color.
cherokeepatti · 70-79, F
All of them were normal back when I was young. But if we sat close to the TV we would get scolded for it, they said it wasn’t good for our eyes and other reason. Sometimes we drank from the hand pump on the well depending on where we were when we were playing outdoors. Grandpa’s well water was ice cold and very refreshing when it was hot.

How about making deposits and withdrawls at the bank with a live teller?
NeuroticByNature · 41-45, F
Eight here
TexChik · F
hahaha...I grew up on a farm. My parents were very conservative those were just a normal day at home.
all...i still remember how bad the water tasted out of the hose....but we were kids playing outside in the hot sun far from home so we'd just find the nearest house with a hose and slurp up warm rubber water
Jenny1234 · 56-60, M
@beermeplease I still remember the taste too. But it was fun! Everyone slobbering on the same hose too lol
@Jenny1234 had i known you when we were kids i woulda said.."hey jenny, wanna sip" (while i was holding the hose) you'd say "sure" (as i stick my thumb over the hose hole to increase water pressure and squirt your face) ....then you beat me up 🤣
Jenny1234 · 56-60, M
@beermeplease you’ve got that right! 😂
Ontheroad · M
Pretty much the norm when I was growing up.
@Ontheroad It was for me, too.
Iwillwait · M
All but #4, we primarily used a dryer.
lissah · 36-40, F
Teslin · M
9. I don’t remember ever writing checks at a store ?
@Teslin I wrote lots of them before I had any credit cards.
FreddieUK · 70-79, M
9. I don't remember drinking from a hose.

Still only one TV in my house,,,but then, there's only one person here. I still hang clothes outside to dry when the weather allows.
DeWayfarer · 61-69, M
I remember all 10 of course. And likely could add more.

Mom never knew what a personal check was. She always went to the Bank first. Nor did she know what a credit card was, much less a debit card.
Musicman · 61-69, M
Every one of them. 🙂 Does that make me old?
i never wrote checks
