@Azlotto oh yeah when the feral cat got attacked by another cat and had cuts I used colloidal silver on the cut and also put some in the water bowl. There is a burn ointment made with silver and they are putting it on bandaids and make a first aid gel with it.

@Azlotto Its very very bad for you
Azlotto · M
@thisgenericnamehere It prolly is if gallons (3.79 liters) a week are consumed.

Simple to make. Tds meter…distilled water…some 999 silver and a small 9-12v power source.

I've wondered the same thing. I finally tried CBD, and it made the swelling in my leg go down faster than anything else I've ever tried. I haven't tried colloidal silver though. After reading all the comments here, 🙃 I'm kind of afraid now.
MartinTheFirst · 26-30, M
@Bertie CBD is okay, but colloidal silver is just snake oil
helenS · 36-40, F
I would like to strongly discourage its usage for medical purposes of any kind. 👎

@revenant Well noble people were... rich.. of course theyre gonna live long lives if anyone, but yet they often died early

I read an article once, that, when applied carefully by a doctor, to the inside of the sinuses, colloidal silver treatment is the only way to clear up chronic sinus infections.
However, if you use too much of it, you can turn your skin blue...permanently.

Each day I learn something new. I will do a thorough research on this and will let you know. Meanwhile it is also expensive. Why do you want to use it?
Heavenlywarrior · 36-40, M
Interesting…What are you using it for?
revenant · F
@Heavenlywarrior I am not using it but wanting to know if people did.

You interested in joining the Blue Man Group? If not you might give it a second thought.

@cherokeepatti I read that people put silver pennies in their glass to get rid of microbes.
cherokeepatti · 61-69, F
@revenant people used to clean a silver coin very well and then put it in the bottom of a milk jar to help keep the milk fresh longer. Also they used a clean silver coin over a newborns cut cord area and bound it with a cloth to help it heal better. Silver nitrate drops are put in newborns eyes right after birth to prevent infection.

Consumption of colloidal silver is associated with many serious health risks, such as argyria, neurological damage, and liver and kidney harm. It also reduces the absorption and efficacy of certain drugs, such as antibiotics and the thyroid medication thyroxine
That depends on your intent. Do you wish to turn your skin and internal organs blue without reaping any other benefits?

@CorvusBlackthorne yes
