I would like to strongly discourage its usage for medical purposes of any kind. 👎

@helenS lots of people swear by it and mention it keeps them healthy.

@revenant Colloidal silver constists of metal nanoparticles which may enter cells. Double plus ungood. It's known that nanosilver may cause sore eyes and skin irritations. It can also act as a skin allergen.

@helenS I think maybe people of the past had flair we do not have anymore. Why on earth would they be using silver utensils then ?
helenS · 36-40, F
@revenant Because silver is stainless?

@helenS I do not have the answer. I am inquiring. We may have lost healthy instincts.
helenS · 36-40, F
@revenant Typical life span in the Middle Ages when people's health instincts still worked: 21. Typical life span today in 1st world countries where all instincts have been lost: 80.

@helenS hmmm you know I have always been suspicious about numbers like that. Noble people on records did not die young unless in battle. They got quite old ! children mortality was higher though.
helenS · 36-40, F
@revenant Yes the low number is mainly caused by very high child mortality.
