Is colloidal silver worth getting ?

@cherokeepatti I read that people put silver pennies in their glass to get rid of microbes.

@revenant people used to clean a silver coin very well and then put it in the bottom of a milk jar to help keep the milk fresh longer. Also they used a clean silver coin over a newborns cut cord area and bound it with a cloth to help it heal better. Silver nitrate drops are put in newborns eyes right after birth to prevent infection.
