You interested in joining the Blue Man Group? If not you might give it a second thought.

@RuyLopez Colloidal silver was used and prescribed by doctors before penicillin was discovered. Colloidal silver cost $100 per ounce back then and only the wealthy could afford to use it. Penicillin was very cheap to produce and became widely used.

@cherokeepatti I see. I had heard of it before as a alternative medicine. I don't know why but some how I remembered reading about the guy that turned himself blue. That is the link I included.

@RuyLopez Yes because he was pouring it in his sinuses every day for months or years. Imagine abusing other medicines that way what would happen. They take one case and publicize it to keep people from self- treating, greedy doctors

@RuyLopez Because one fool misuses something the alarm bells sound….how many people have adverse side effects from physician prescribed drugs each year? A lot and some serious side affects at that.

@RuyLopez I do not think it would be fair to point out one freako accident. It would be like pointing out one death with liver disease with paracetamol.*

@revenant Agreed. I wasn't really stating an opinion one way or the other honestly. I just thought it was interesting that it happened. Initially when I saw the guy I thought it was a hoax.
