What is it about SW that keeps you coming back?

I’ve preferred it over the larger social sites. Just the fact that at times it felt almost…small town? Many have left but it still gives those vibes sometimes. When I do want to share or express I know the opportunity is here.

It's always been the one place I can be truly honest and myself. There's some really amazing people here and it makes me happy when I hear things are working out for them.

I like giving support and sometimes its just nice to be heard. ✌

The cool community that’s here, despite all the noise around us. Some seriously good, admirable, and just nice human beings I’ve gotten to know.

Sure there are some knuckleheads, me among them, but it’s nice to see everyone’s experiences and viewpoints. That’s my reason.

The people keep me coming back. I love talking and carrying on about nothing and sometimes very serious stuff.

I made many great friends on here. Some I known from other websites, some I know in real life, some I will know in real life, some I hope will become an old fashion pen pal with me.

Writing postcards back and forth with friends is a fun hobby for me. But no one wants to do that anymore. 😔

Morbid curiosity, mostly. 😂 But seriously there are some good & decent members that I love to keep in touch with too. I worry about them when I don’t see them posting things for awhile and wonder what happened to them.

My friends and people I resonate with. And although this profile doesn't have any examples, the ability to express myself/ be creative through writing..

Lack of a social outlet in person.

Also iv come accustom to the UI and dont feel the same connection to other sites.

Iv tried others but abandoned them. Cant seem to leave here though.

I'm a bit lonely (a lot sometimes).
Commenting on posts feels like having a conversation with all of you.

So I find my way to similar worlds.

Socially speaking the area that I reside in is pretty dead so it allows me the opportunity to reach out and try to connect with different people around the globe. A lot more variety basically but other than that not too much

People are weird and it's more entertaining to doomscroll here. Also some really cool peeps that I enjoy catching up with every once in awhile.

Also the very friendly political discussions people have that are super duper constructive.

I like writing and maybe be supportive where I am needed. Plus, there are some great people here
