I just blocked a SW user, and another user I was going to block next was blocked by default.

Does this mean they are the same person with two accounts?

Yes! 🤣

That's what happens they link together a alt account with their normal account! 😵‍💫

That won't happen if you don't link them!

@helenS Yours are not boring to me
pride49 · 31-35, M

@pride49 For testing, my dear test subject
I have never blocked or mute anyone.
I just avoid conflicts. 🙏
And ignore them.

I think that happens only if the two accounts have been connected/linked on purpose via the settings.

@pripyatamusementpark I also noticed once, a known troublemaker blocked me in this account and she also blocked my other account when she had no way of knowing it was me. I wonder if the same thing happened there. Was it a default block because it was my other account?

Maybe that happened to me once

Yes!

So convenient when people link their accounts 😌
How thoughtful of them 😆
Only one way really to find out is to unblock them quickly, check to see if the other account shows up again and then re block main account.

I dont think the isp makes a difference you might have family members that use same computer if you block some one it dosent remove them from family members list
TheShanachie · 61-69, M
I think it’s possible yes, it may depend on whether or not the user had the accounts linked.

Usually it doesn't happen like that. Unless you went into settings n selected a certain group to be always hidden I don't know actually.
