Possibly, but there would have to be a lot more love in the world. As it stands, there's way too much indifference, hatred, greed, and cruelty for love to prevail. It's always been this way and I'm not sure it will ever change.
Gloomy · F
No but empathy in its strongest and purest form might be able to
SW-User
@Gloomy that’s a long road back from where we are now.

As humans we need five traits to survive and prosper: Intelligence, ambition, compassion, wisdom, and humility. I don't believe that love, although important, will help us much.

Less than I once did.

Love provides the motivation, but we also need the policies and practical steps.
WanderlustCat · 36-40, M
No. Not so long as people dictate who you can and cant love
assemblingaknob · 31-35, F
Yes. The rich and powerful don't love anything but the money and power. So you see the consequences. Human beings are pretty much driven by any sort of love/passion. So yeah. If it was for others of our kind instead of money and power the world would be a better place. But that's not how we're wired I guess. We're wired to be fuckups

A person yes. The world? No.

If the Jewish saying "Whosoever saves a single life, saves an entire universe" is true, then the answer is an unequivocal yes!
Absolutely. Food, shelter, clean air and water be damned. Love and kindness is all we need.

Love is all you need.
eMortal · M
Yes but only if we want to. If most of our actions were dictated by love, the world would be a better place.
Unfortunately humans have learn to derive pleasure from the pain and suffering. Too addictive. They won’t let go.

Not a chance. Religion and politics will destroy the world well in advance of love even being relevant.
Bleak · 36-40, F
Don’t know about the world but yeah love is enough to avoid mass killing.

What's with the picture and saving the world?

Nope.

Love alone? No. But it would play a critical role in doing so.
