Take good care of yourself now, and please allow this to heal the right way without rushing it, and you鈥檒l be glad you did. It will pay off in the long run. You鈥檙e not going to die for those few weeks you must use to heal. No shortcuts. If you don鈥檛, you could pay again later, down the road. It鈥檚 not worth it. If you can be so strict and disciplined with the gym training, there鈥檚 no reason why you can鈥檛 eat right and not gain weight, as you fear, while you give your body the special care it鈥檚 screaming for.
Please do not lift at this time. You鈥檒l just do more damage. This is really rough for you right now. I know. I鈥檝e had broken ribs three different times. I鈥檓 so sorry you have this now. To heal a lot quicker, take extra Vitamin D-3 every day. Do not miss.

You need to at least get it wrapped and rest up. I wouldn't lift through that. Maybe just hand weights or leg workouts if you must

Well if you snap a rib, its going to do a lot of damages.

I have broken ribs before....as long as you didn't pierce a lung you will be ok. It will hurt like hell to take a deep breath for a while. The Drs. just X-ray to make sure there are no complication and tell you to take it easy for a while.

More damage. This is a question that will depend on the extent of the injury, but I'd ask your doctor to be certain

Ow ,what happened?
Lostpoet 路 M
@Lemony1199 No, I don't think it's serious. I was just hoping maybe someone new how to work around it. I think I can still do squats and leg stuff.

You may need to rest for few days just in case 馃樁@Lostpoet
There鈥檚 not one thing they can do for you at ER except give you pain medicine. They don鈥檛 wrap them anymore, you just suffer through and it鈥檚 no fun sitting there for at least four hours in intensive pain, before your attended. It鈥檚 really miserable. @Lemony1199

Prolly not a good idea to lift right away. You can wrap the area to compress it and help "hold" things in place. However, I would caution against doing any lifting as it will probably just makes things worse if not more serious.
I was told to keep them wrapped and no lifting for a couple of weeks...which was the next doctors appointment.
I hope you are ok.
