@GuyWithOpinions Everyone would love to see some changes, but say you killed Hitler. Then all of the people who died would still be alive. If you look at the dead soldiers that were married that would mean that their wife's wouldn't have married their second husband and their kids wouldn't be born. That would be a massive timeline change.

You cant change things without endangering your own existence unless if was for a future happening, like investing in a stock you know will explode and having some profits put in a trust for you to open on a date after you return .

What always bothers me about this question is, it doesn't accout for spatial displacement. If I travel back 50 or 100 years in time, how do I determine where exactly I land in space? If I travel 12 hours back in time but remained at a fixed point in space, I would reappear in another country or the middle of an ocean...

@GerOttman actually, in relation to universe (counting earth's rotation, orbit around sun, our system around the milky way, the milky way in relation to universe/cosmic background), the Earth is moving through space at about 1,300,000 mph; assuming you "traveled" back 12 hours to the fixed point you left, you'd materialize 15,600,000 million miles away from the planet...🤔
