What was your worst pick up line?

Not mine, but I asked one of my grandfathers how he met my grandmother. He says he was standing in a shop doorway one night when she walked past with one of her friends eating fish and chips. He claims his first words were, "Give us a chip, luv."

It worked for him. 😁

In 1987, I once said, while sitting at a Red Light, from the back driver's side seat of my best friend's car, to a station wagon full of girls...,

"I'd stop the world and melt for you."

There were 5 of them and 5 of us and both cars drove to the Zayre parking lot in downtown Lowell MA.

3 of us came away with girlfriends that night that lasted for a while.
I wasn't one of them.
But I was the only one of us that got laid.

Out and about, at the world famous Nottingham Rock City venue and nightclub, back in the 90's, someone genuinely did ask..

"How many vodka's does it take to get you on your back?"
