No I waste my waking hours worrying as well :D

Nope it's not just you. However for me those unwanted thoughts are there all day since I lost Vickie. When I close my eyes they intensify. In fact last night was the worst sleep I've had in about a year.
CrazyMusicLover · 31-35
Nah, that usually happens when I wake up early in the morning.
Heartlander · 80-89, M
I use to do that. And too often it prompted me to get up and complete a "should have" task, or go add another 30 minutes to an open project, or add something to a shopping list. I still sometimes do that, mostly with eternally open projects.
But for the most part I changed my eyes closed routine to writing or creating a couple of fiction novels, with myself or my imaginary self as the main character. I'm about 5 chapters into my current mental novel now. When I get writer's block (thinker's block) I go back and review what's already been created, and when I do that I'm practically living in my imagination and completely disconnected from the awake world. I'm asleep.

Nope, I close my eyes and think of fun projects I'm working on... sort of solving any problems I'm having making/creating/fixing, etc., and it puts me right to sleep.
Justafantasy · M
Usually by bed time I'm done worrying about the stuff I'll never deal with. So the more immediate has to be dealt with stuff appears then
Justafantasy · M
@Bexsy believe me that's a very serious consideration. as I sleep on a couch in the basement trying to think if we even talked today
@Justafantasy sorry, didn't mean to make light of your situation
Justafantasy · M
@Bexsy don't worry about it. Less stressful thinking of splitting them staying together
Degbeme · 70-79, M
No my dear it isn`t just you. Our minds need an off switch.
It happens to me and it sucks.

I'm always thinking about stuff but between the hours of 11 pm and 3 am my brain goes into overdrive.

Hmm for me it’s more thoughts of on waiting on things that were suppose be done days weeks ago. I can’t stand procrastinators 😣
NerdyPotato · M
No, I do turn it up a notch when I close my eyes at the end of the day, but I start much earlier.
Pinkstarburst · 51-55, F
There’s only around 4-5 hours in the day that I don’t worry. That’s how long I sleep.
@Pinkstarburst 5 hours is my average sleep
Houdini · 56-60, M
No it’s not just you that is why I can’t sleep much my head is in overdrive every night
DragonFruit · 61-69, M
No, I stay up late worrying about things, but when I get to sleep I sleep well.
DunningKruger · 61-69, M
Oh, no. I'm worrying about every little thing long before I close my eyes.
JustDJ76 · 46-50, M
I’m usually asleep as soon as I close my eyes
FourthShadow · 31-35, M
